When Removal Becomes the Better Option
When damage is extensive, involves significant decay, or affects a large portion of the tree’s structure, support systems may not be a reasonable option, and removal may need to be considered instead. It’s also worth understanding that no support system, no matter how well installed, guarantees a tree or branch will never fail. Cabling and bracing manage risk, they don’t eliminate it.
